What You- ll Do:
Role-Specific Duties
- Operate CAD software (e.g., Unigraphics) and PLM systems (e.g., Teamcenter), as well as customer-specific admin/configuration platforms.
- Design and integrate cab, chassis, and/or powertrain components in line with customer and project requirements.
- Apply core mechanical engineering principles to ensure optimal performance of various vehicle systems (e.g., suspension, body, powertrain).
- Create parts, assemblies, and supporting documentation using CAD tools.
- Maintain and manage bills of materials (BOMs) for subsystems and assemblies.
- Provide design support for production-related work orders and custom requests.
- Propose innovative, technically sound solutions for cost reduction, product improvement, or service challenges.
- Liaise with materials, purchasing, testing, and manufacturing teams to align design with sourcing and production capabilities.
- Ensure compliance with product regulations and government codes in collaboration with the Compliance team.

What We- re Looking For:
- Proficiency in CAD software (preferably Unigraphics) and PLM systems (preferably Teamcenter).
- Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, particularly in the automotive or heavy machinery sector.
- Experience working on vehicle cab, chassis, and powertrain systems is preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
