Job Summary :

- We are seeking a qualified and experienced Purchase Engineer to join our procurement team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials, equipment, and services required for our organization. The Purchase Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring timely procurement of quality goods and services while adhering to budgetary constraints.

Responsibilities :

- Source, negotiate, and purchase materials, equipment, and services required for company operations.

- Evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery speed.

- Maintain relationships with existing suppliers and identify new suppliers as needed.

- Coordinate with internal departments to determine procurement needs and specifications.

- Review purchase requisitions and ensure accuracy and completeness.

- Prepare purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.

- Monitor inventory levels and track orders to ensure on-time delivery.

- Resolve any issues or disputes with suppliers regarding quality, quantity, or delivery.

- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.

- Keep abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and best practices in procurement.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably in a manufacturing or engineering environment.

- Proficiency in sourcing and negotiating with suppliers.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

- Knowledge of procurement software and tools is a plus.
