Engineer/Sr. Engineer/ Manager - Mechanical (Polyester Films)

Responsible for maintaining, repairing, and optimizing machinery used in the production of polyester films, including extrusion, coating, and finishing processes, routine maintenance and troubleshooting to project management and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues in production equipment, including extruders, coating machinery, and other related systems.

- Implementing and adhering to preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and ensure equipment longevity.

- Identifying and resolving problems in production processes, working with engineers and technicians to find solutions.

- Identifying opportunities to improve production efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize equipment performance.

- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and procedures in the workplace.

- Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.

- Supporting or leading projects related to equipment upgrades, installation, or modifications.

- Supervising and guiding a team of mechanical technicians or fitters.

- Contributing to initiatives aimed at improving production processes and quality.

Qualification And Experience:

1. BE Mechanical with 4-10 Years of strong understanding of mechanical principles, systems, and components and experience in polyester film industry. Familiarity with the specific equipment and processes used in polyester film production.

2. The ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical issues effectively.

3. Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) or similar tools.

4. Ability to collaborate effectively with other departments and team members.

5. Adherence to safety standards and protocols in the workplace.

6. Ability to manage projects related to equipment upgrades or modifications.
