Engineer/Senior Engineer - Mechanical Design (3-8 yrs)

Educational Qualification : Bachelor's/Master's degree in Mechanical

Experience : 3-5 Yrs (Engg.)/ 5-8 Yrs( Senior Engg.)

Location : Gurgaon

Key Responsibilities :

- Work with an interdisciplinary team to execute complex product designs from concept to production.

- Involve in R&D for constantly improving the performance and reliability of the product.

- Actively participate in production and testing of new hardware and systems.

- Documentation of Design, Manufacturing and Assembly processes.

- On-site inspection of parts and systems at vendors' site.

- Support Production, Installation and Service department staff when necessary to resolve problems encountered during product life-cycle.

- Detailed - Design for manufacturability- knowledge across a wide range of fabrication processes

- Extensive experience with 3D mechanical design and associated software applications such as Solid Works, Inventor and Pro Engineer

- Conduct Finite Element Analysis (FEA) of Mechanical Designs

- Documentation of Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA/ DFMEA) for Mechanical Systems

- Active participation in production and testing of new hardware and systems

Requirements :

- Proficient in 3D and 2D CAD modelling. Previous experience with CAD modelling softwares like SolidWorks/Catia/ProE/Inventor, etc

- Knowledge and experience of working with diverse manufacturing processes, including but not limited to Castings, Machining, Welding, Plastic molding, Sheet Metal, etc.

- Experience in Documentation of Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA/ DFMEA) for Mechanical Systems

- Well versed with GD&T

- Detailed "Design for Manufacturability" knowledge across a wide range of fabrication/manufacturing processes.

- Experience with designing and testing of complex electromechanical systems.

- Thorough knowledge of materials and material properties.

- Strong ability to translate high level functional requirements into detailed and robust designs.

- Ability to learn things quickly & adapt to a dynamic, fast paced work environment.

- Knowledge of basic electronics is an added advantage
