Techno Commercial Engineer for renowned Mining Company in Odisha.

Position : Engineer - Techno Commercial - Iron Ore Mining

Experience : 15 Years

Qualifications : B.Tech in Mechanical/Electrical.

General Experience :

- More than 15 years of experience in Supply Chain Management, Procurement and Plant Maintenance in any Iron Mines (Crusher Plants) with minimum 5 year experience in a similar role of leading Procurement & Maintenance function in a large/ mid-sized Organization.

- Strong Experience Required of Mining & Material Handling Procurement, Handling Mining & EPC Contractors, Explosives, Project Monitoring.

- Mining Contractors/Capex Vendors, Contract Administration/Management including sub-contracts, Contract Formulation, Contract closure after settlement of payment, addressing all disputes and other issue (i.e. punch points, statutory compliance etc),

- Dispute resolution, Arbitration & claim settlement. Reports & MIS, Audit (both internal & external) Subordinate team management, Compliance to SOPs, etc.

- Experience of Coal Mining / Iron Mining / Other Related Projects is essential.

Technical Experience :

- Exposure to end-to-end procurement processes including: category management negotiations, methodologies for measuring the performance of procurement function, contract management, financial analysis, market analysis, e Procurement systems (SAP etc.) and supplier relationship management.

- Exposure to business partnering and strategy development beyond tactical purchasing.

- Exposure to business specific knowledge, systems and laws as applicable.

- Must have Exposure to bidding and estimation activities.

- Immediate joining or 15 days is highly preferred.
