Position Summary :

To ensure high level of maintenance standard of building, machinery, plant, furniture fixture & equipment in all the areas & to assist Chief

Engineer - Engineering in order to meet high level of customer satisfaction & profitability in an environment of high employee morale.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :

I) Systems / Operations

1. Responsible for handling day to day operation, maintenance & complaints.

2. Responsible for maintenance & upkeep of all the equipment's and specifically particular area / equipment's / systems assigned.

3. Responsible for executing preventive maintenance as per schedule.

4. Ensures all equipment's & areas are maintained as per required standard.

5. Ensures jobs allocated are carried our efficiently & promptly.

6. Attend to all complaints promptly.

7. Assists others in the engineering section.

8. Ensures planned preventive maintenance carried out in effective manner to achieve Zero down time of the equipment

9. Recommends changes in system & procedures to increase efficiency & improve service levels.

10. Assists supervisor for implementation of energy conservation program.

11. Responsible for maintaining working tools in serviceable condition.

12. Contributes towards saving on HLP cost by curtailing wasteful expenses.

13. Contributes towards saving on wasteful expenses related to R&M expenses.

14. Attends behavioral and vocational training in own & related work areas to enhance skills and develop multi-functionality III) Shared Values

JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES :

- ITI or Diploma in engineering with 02 years of experience in maintenance.

- Good communication skill.

- Past experience with hotel maintenance in region will be an advantage.

- Ability to use computer applications most commonly used in hotel industry.

- Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously and work independently.

- Should wear safety gear, safety boots and hard hat or any other measures as and when required for the work condition.

- Able to work in plant establishment, guest environment and construction sites with extended hours of walking, climbing, using ladders, stairs, platforms or scaffoldings, working at heights and/or at low head-rooms.
