Engineering Manager (6-10 yrs)
Job Description :
- Responsible to maintain the improvement of plant equipment (compounding, High speed mixer, Ketron Feeder, Extruder, material conveying system, packing, sealing m/c etc) and supply of utilities for uninterrupted production.
- Ensure optimal use of utilities (DG set, Compressor, Cooling Tower,vacuum pump etc) and supply of low cost utilities.
- Facilitate annual planning activities with respect to equipment maintenance and engineering improvements.
- Facilitate and preparation of long range plans, X-Matrices for the process, tasks and themes, repair and maintenance budgets, capital expenditure proposals and plans and targets.
- Review of all the above plans and activities, in order to meet the targets. Review skill matrix of workmen and organize specific equipment related training programme's.
- Daily review of breakdowns and counter measures provide necessary resources to improve the condition.
- Change maintenance practices and systems to improve the reliability and maintainability.
- Encourage and ensure corrective maintenance is in place and people working to reduce the breakdowns.
- Monthly review on breakdown analysis as a whole team and work out improvements.
- Implement Autonomous maintenance.
- Modifications and development activities (KAIZENS).
- Energy Saving Audit & Effective 5S condition across the department.
- Development of vendor in order to improve spare part quality at optimum cost.
