Engineering Manager - Water Pump Design (8-15 yrs)
- We have an opportunity for Engineering Manager Water Pump for one of the automotive MNC client in Shenzhen, China.
- Mainly work for Water Pump project team
- Perform the BLDC motor and Pump mechanical design work and prepare all drawings by CAD software (Solidwork)
- Interface with global customer and discuss detail on all the technical proposal and provide solution to customer
- Prepare motor proposal (BOM and drawing) and work with sampling shop to build engineering sample for customer testing or validation
- Independently work on motor mechanical design (DC and BLDC) according to customers' requirements
- Provide technical proposal according to customer requirement
- Design improvement, both cost and performance
- Handle oversea, China and oversea project development
- Interface with Global Customer, BDM, PM, PE, QE and Internal Manufacturing
- Lead the team to handle projects and closely monitor the team activities
- Support to solve production issue or to improve productivity
- Conduct the project work according to APQP requirement
- Manage the project development cycle, starting from generate a design proposal, conceptual design, DV and go through PPAP.
- Work closely with process engineers to transfer product design from sample development to production.
- 8 plus years of experience in water pump design and development.
