Equitron Medica - Design Engineer - Mechanical (1-2 yrs)

I. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBIITIES : 

- Study and document relevant international standards, theories, technologies and data references for the assigned project. 

- Revise and update existing 3D models and drawings reflecting design changes, in collaboration with other Design Engineers to ensure consistent documentation of the project. 

- Maintain notes and other documentation (Bill of materials, process layout, manuals, list of design parameters and performance metrics) for future reference. 

- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of manufacturing processes, outsourced items and services data base. 

- Coordinate prototype manufacturing in collaboration with other Production Engineers. 

- Conduct tests and experiments methodically, analyse data and interpret results. 

- Other duties as required relating to Project Management. 

Coordinate design activities in cross function teams related to Kaizen, CAPA, TPM, etc.

II. REQUIRED EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

- Minimum two years work experience in pressure vessel design field. 

- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or higher with good academic record. 


- No backlogs or gaps in education.

III. ADDITIONAL DESIRED KNOWLEDGE and ABILITIES :

- Part modeling (including sheet metal module) and detailing knowledge using Solidworks software.

- Should have working knowledge of International standards like ASME Sec-VIII DIV1,DIV2/EN/ISO,etc. 

- Skilled in PC usage and associated software including Microsoft Office. 

- Excellent communications skills: interpersonal, listening, oral, and written. 

- Able to work with minimal supervision, efficiently schedule and manage time. 

- Should have experience in analysis softwares like PV-Elite, Ansys.
