Etchon Marks Control - Purchase Executive (2-5 yrs)
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Purchase Executive to manage procurement of industrial components and specialized parts. The ideal candidate should have experience in sourcing technical materials, vendor management, and cost optimization across engineering or high-tech sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and procure industrial parts (e.g. laser components, optical items, mechanical fittings, etc.)
- Identify reliable suppliers and negotiate price, quality, and delivery timelines
- Review and compare quotations, ensuring competitive pricing and technical accuracy
- Coordinate with engineering and production teams to forecast part requirements
- Maintain records of purchase orders, vendor contracts, and delivery schedules
- Monitor stock levels and reorder critical components proactively
- Track and manage warranty claims or supplier disputes
- Support audits and compliance with internal procurement policies
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of industrial part categories, especially in precision engineering or optical systems
- Excellent vendor communication and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in ERP systems or inventory management tools
- Familiarity with technical drawings/specs and BOM interpretation
- Analytical thinking and cost management mindset
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Management, or related field
- 3- 5 years of experience in industrial procurement or supply chain
- Fluency in English, Hindi, and Marathi preferred for vendor coordination
