Excel Controlinkage - Store Manager (4-5 yrs)
1. Inventory & Stock Management:
- Oversee inventory control, ensuring accurate tracking of stock, managing reordering, and minimizing stockouts or overstocking of components.
- Ensure that all parts (automotive, tractor, sensor, marine) are properly catalogued and stored according to company guidelines.
- Perform regular inventory audits and stock rotation to ensure that older items are sold first.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely replenishment and resolve supply chain issues.
2. Customer Service & Support:
- Provide expert advice and guidance to customers on automotive, tractor, sensor, and marine components.
- Resolve customer issues related to product quality, returns, and exchanges as per company policies.
- Train staff to deliver high-quality customer service and ensure they are knowledgeable about the products.
- Foster a customer-centric environment and create strategies to improve customer satisfaction.
3. Team Leadership & Staff Management:
- Lead, train, and motivate a team of store associates, ensuring they meet performance expectations.
- Conduct performance reviews, provide feedback, and implement development plans for staff.
- Manage staff schedules and ensure adequate coverage during peak hours.
- Promote a positive, productive work environment with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.
4. Store Operations:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the store, ensuring smooth functioning of the store's processes.
- Ensure that all store activities comply with company policies, health, and safety regulations.
- Monitor store cleanliness, product displays, and layout to ensure an optimal shopping experience.
- Manage point-of-sale (POS) systems and ensure smooth billing and transaction processing.
5. Marketing & Promotions:
- Collaborate with marketing teams to launch promotional campaigns and increase brand visibility.
- Utilize local advertising and digital channels to attract new customers.
- Develop in-store promotions to drive sales of key products and seasonal items.
- Implement loyalty programs to retain customers and encourage repeat business.
6. Financial Management & Reporting:
- Monitor store financial performance, including sales, expenses, and profitability.
- Control costs associated with inventory, labor, and store operations.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales and inventory reports for senior management.
- Implement strategies to improve the store's financial performance and achieve budgeted goals.
7. Health, Safety & Compliance:
- Ensure the store complies with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Implement safety protocols for handling and storage of components, especially those that are hazardous or heavy.
- Ensure staff are properly trained on safety procedures, particularly for the handling of automotive, tractor, sensor, and marine parts.
