Executive - Freight Operation - Vessel Operations (3-8 yrs)
Exp: 3 to 4 years

Job Purpose :
To process and support vessel chartering activities for Coal trading as well as to perform order administration duties.
Key Responsibilities :
- Responsible to support chartering head for all aspects of vessel chartering & operations
- Drafting and preparing Charter Parties, Letter of Indemnity (LOI)/Bill of Lading (BL)/other shipping documents
- Preparation of Lay Time calculation (LTC) statements as per commercial contract
- Follow-up on all activities all related documentations and operations for the chartering, including stowage plan, freight payment, LOIs, BL issuance.
- Calculate voyage estimates and assist with budgeting and preparation of commercials
- Support in development and implementation ofmarketing and chartering strategies
- Assist in conducting background checks on vessel owners/operator to ensure conformity with company standards
- Liaise with vessel and the 3rd party survey of pre-loading and loading inspection at port of loading
- Liaise with load port and discharge port agents for regular and periodic reports on ongoing vessel operations
- Support in all ad-hoc projects and activities
- Invoicing and Payment follow ups
Desired Skills:
- 3 to 4 years- experience in Vessel operations preferably in Dry Bulk Commodities like Coal, Base metals etc.
- Proficiency in Lay time calculations
- MS Office proficiency. Should be capable of generating MIS and reports for internal management
- Attention to details and meticulous in work
- Good command of English - written / spoken
