The Job :
You will be responsible for :
- Acting as the focal point amongst customers, sales and foreign network for managing shipments
- Developing and implementing effective order processing and management systems.
- Participating in strategic supply chain enhancements/ projects to drive optimal efficiency and productivity.
- Preparing required documents pertaining to order and shipments
- Conducting reviews, processing orders and verifying data, obtaining customer confirmations & along with coordinating with foreign agent & shippers.
- Handling customer order related queries & support the key internal stakeholders for any issues.
- Ensuring regular review and prompt action on backlogs and devising plans to minimize these in coordination with other teams.
The Profile :
- You have a degree from a reputed institute and ideally have experience in an Operations role within Shipping.
- Fresh graduations with strong customer service skills are encouraged to apply.
- You are proficient in Microsoft Office.
- You pay strong attention to detail and deliver work that is of a high standard
- You are adaptable and thrive in changing environments
- You have strong interpersonal as well as written and verbal communication skills.
