Job Description :

Krayons Interiors, is looking for a skilled and dynamic Executive Quantity Surveyor (QS) to join our team. In this role, you'll be pivotal in overseeing and managing costs linked to our projects. The job demands a sharp eye for detail, outstanding communication abilities, and a solid grasp of quantity surveying principles.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Cost Estimation:

- Prepare accurate cost estimates for interior design and construction projects based on detailed analysis of project requirements, materials, and labour costs.

- Conduct site visits and collaborate with project teams to gather essential information for cost assessments.

2. Budget Management:

- Monitor project budgets and track expenses to ensure adherence to financial plans.

- Identify cost-saving opportunities and propose alternative solutions without compromising quality.

3. Quantity Take off:

- Perform detailed quantity take offs from architectural and engineering drawings.

- Work closely with design and project teams to validate quantities and specifications.

4. Contract Administration:

- Assist in the preparation and evaluation of contracts, including the review of contract documents and terms.

- Collaborate with legal and procurement teams to ensure contract compliance.

5. Cost Control:

- Implement effective cost control measures to prevent budget overruns.

- Regularly review project costs and provide timely reports to project managers and stakeholders.

Qualifications and Skills :

- Engineering degree in civil, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.

- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in #interiordesign #Interiorfitouts industry.

- Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and processes.
