Executive - Research & Development - Chemicals (5-7 yrs)
Job Description & Requirements:
- Should have solid understanding of Inorganic chemistry or physical chemistry or solid state chemistry. Understanding of surface chemistry is very vital.
- Experience in designing novel catalyst.
- Fully conversant at preparations of precious metal catalyst on supports like carbon, alumina, SiO2 for applications in pharmaceuticals chemicals, agrochemicals.
- Exposure to catalyst characterization and evaluation techniques: surface area, pore size, pore size distribution, dispersion of metal particles, size of metal particles, pulse chemisorption, spectroscopic techniques.
- Good understanding of precious metal chemistry, co-ordination chemistry and synthetic organic chemistry.
- Basic understanding of chemical engineering processes.
- Understanding of laboratory practices and skills
- Convergent with transfer of technology from Research and Development to Kilo Lab or Pilot Plant in an effective, efficient and safe way.
- Ability to carry out research independently and as part of team.
- Should be able to write technical reports and specifications for products, and tests.
- Detail oriented personality.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Innovative, resourceful and self-motivated.
- Basic IT skills.
- Customer centric approach.
Education: Master's in inorganic or physical chemistry
Experience: 5+ years of relevant experience in this industry.
Salary offered: 10 - 15 LPA
