Factory Manager - Manufacturing (15-20 yrs)

Chennai Job Code: 31642

1. Plan, organize, direct and run optimum day-to-day operations to exceed our customers- expectations

2. Delegating machine operation, quality control and quality assurance, and maintenance tasks to factory employees Increase production, assets capacity and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs and maintaining current quality standards

3. Be responsible for production output, product quality and on-time supply chain activities

4. Allocate resources effectively and fully utilize assets to produce optimal results

5. Implement strategies in alignment with strategic initiatives and provide a clear sense of direction and focus

6. Monitor operations and trigger corrective actions

7. Inspecting the quality of finished products to check on machine and operator efficiency

8. Share a trusting relationship with workgroup and recruit, manage and develop plant staff

9. Collect and analyze data to find places of waste or overtime

10. Commit to plant safety procedures

11. Develop systems and processes that track and optimize productivity and standards, metrics and performance targets to ensure effective return on assets

12. Address employees- issues or grievances and administer collective bargaining agreements

13. Influence and learn from below

14. Stay up to date with latest production management best practices and concepts

15. Analyzing production data and making strategic recommendations to decision makers

Required SKILLS : 

1.Excellent exposure in Lab, Production, Maintenance, Stores, Planning & Supply Chain

2. Exposure in ISO 9001 & 14001

3. Maintaining a content and motivated workforce through interpersonal communication and conflict resolution skills

Preferred Industry : Pesticides formulation/ Agrochemicals
