Factory Safety & Health Inspector (1-2 yrs)
- We are seeking a dedicated Factory Safety & Hygiene Inspector to oversee safety compliance, hygiene standards, and basic plant maintenance activities within a manufacturing setup. The role is responsible for ensuring a safe, clean, and well-maintained working environment in line with statutory and company safety regulations.
- The incumbent will conduct regular safety and hygiene inspections across the factory premises, ensuring compliance with the Factories Act and established safety norms. Monitoring the usage of PPE, adherence to SOPs, work permits, and implementation of safety procedures such as machine guarding and LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) will be key responsibilities.
- The role also involves identifying machinery issues, damages, or unsafe conditions and taking immediate corrective action. The candidate will either carry out or coordinate minor repairs and maintenance of machines, tools, fittings, and utilities to ensure smooth plant operations. Maintaining proper documentation of safety inspections, hygiene records, maintenance logs, and incident reports is essential.
- Additionally, the position will support internal and external safety audits, conduct safety awareness sessions, and assist in emergency response activities.
- The ideal candidate should have basic technical knowledge of machinery maintenance, strong observation skills, and the ability to respond quickly to potential hazards.
- This role requires a proactive individual with strong communication and documentation skills who can ensure workplace safety and operational continuity.
