FEA Engineer - Aviation (3-7 yrs)

We are looking for FEA Engineer with 3-6 years of Experience for our esteemed client for Bangalore and Hyderabad locations.

Key Skills: ANSYS ADPL, FE Analysis, SIESTA, HyperMesh, Aero Engine, UG NX

Required Skills (Technical Competency):

- Should have Good Exposure to ANSYS APDL(mandate)

- Must have 2 to 6 years of experience in FE Analysis.

- Should have good exposure to Fatigue & Creep calculations. Experience in SIESTA tool will be a must.

- Should have good exposure in Aviation industry and best practices followed in Aviation industries

- Should have good exposure to tool such as HyperMesh and UG-NX.

- Should have Good Knowledge on Linear & Non-Linear Static Structural, Steady State, Harmonic, Thermo-mechanical Eigen buckling analysis and Modal analysis involving Materials, Geometric & Contact Non-linearity's in ANSYS.

- Should be Good in hand calculations, Verification & interpretation of FE Results

- Participate in design reviews with the customer and presenting toll gate reviews.

- Experience in developing APDL macros to reduce time in pre & post processing in ANSYS

- Strong understanding of Finite Element Method Concepts & Strengths of Materials

- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to perform complex assignments. Should have Good Exposure to ANSYS APDL

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Performs and delivers structural analysis, with respect of QCD commitments

- Defines, in pre-Engineering phase, with the Engineer, the necessary structural calculations to be performed during project execution

- Prepares the 3D model for simulations, and executes it following standard metier processes

- Performs simulation results analysis, and proposes optimization solutions

- Supports Train Design Engineer in establishing Certification & Validation Plans

- Participates to relevant Design / Verification reviews

- Contributes to mechanical design and associated program deliverables on subassemblies or small self-contained systems including DFMEA, DFX, packaging, and system testing

- Updates program management on project progress and roadblocks

- Responsible for supporting design validation efforts.
