Field Engineer - Telecom (4-10 yrs)
Job Description : This Position reports to - Project Manager/Installation Manager- and interface with Installation Contractor for the Onshore /Offshore fabrication/Installation work for Quality assurance and Control.
Experience : 4-5 years in onshore/offshore Installation Projects
Qualification : Diploma/Graduate Engineer with Mechanical Chemical / Production Engineering.
Desirable Offshore Experience : Onshore/Offshore Installation Experience.
- IT and software skills : knowledge of Microsoft office & Microsoft Project.
Specific Responsibility /Skills :
- Provide conceptual Execution support for Onshore & Offshore Installation work for :
(i) Offshore Pipelines
(ii) Onshore Survey work.
(iii) Installation and burial of onshore/Offshore Pipelines.
- Coordination with other departments for material transport and procurement
- Oversaw installation works onshore to ensure project specifications are followed.
- Liaised with Contractors at site for resolutions for site related queries.
- Handled the Installation of telecommunications equipment.
- Prepared project risk analysis/mitigation documents.
- Prepared reports required for tracking progress as required.
- Adhered to task order specifications and established policies and procedures by reporting any noted.
- Preparation of project site reports.
- Experience with the lifting and loading equipment's to transport safely project material.
- Maintaining the HSE requirements at site during the project.
- Familiar with site works, preservation & storage of the project material.
- Inspect and test material and machinery for safety.
- Ensure proper maintenance of onsite equipment and tools available.
- Supervise and direct onsite works as per installation procedures.
