Job Description:

As a Coffee Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and installation of coffee machines and equipment at various client locations. Your primary duties include diagnosing technical issues, performing repairs, and ensuring optimal functionality of coffee brewing systems. Additionally, you will provide technical support and training to clients and end-users to ensure they can operate the equipment effectively.

Key Responsibilities :

Maintenance and Repair : Conduct routine maintenance checks and repairs on coffee machines to ensure they operate efficiently and reliably. Diagnose and troubleshoot technical problems promptly to minimize downtime.

Installation and Calibration : Install new coffee machines and equipment at client sites according to manufacturer specifications. Calibrate machines to produce high-quality coffee beverages consistently.

Client Support : Provide technical support to clients and end-users via phone, email, or in-person visits. Assist with troubleshooting issues and provide guidance on equipment operation and maintenance best practices.

Training : Conduct training sessions for clients and staff on the proper use and maintenance of coffee machines. Educate users on safety procedures and equipment protocols.

Inventory Management : Maintain accurate records of spare parts inventory and equipment stock levels. Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely replenishment of parts and consumables.

Documentation : Keep detailed service logs and documentation of maintenance activities, repairs, and client interactions. Complete service reports and submit them in a timely manner.

Quality Assurance : Ensure all work meets quality standards and complies with safety regulations. Perform quality checks on repaired equipment to verify functionality and performance.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or relevant vocational training preferred.

- Proven experience in servicing and repairing coffee machines or similar equipment.

- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

- Excellent customer service and communication abilities.

- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Additional Requirements:

- Willingness to travel to client locations as needed.

- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays for emergency repairs or scheduled maintenance.

- Physical stamina to lift heavy equipment and perform manual tasks as required.
