Food Scientist (4-10 yrs)

1. Develop strategic and creative new products.

2. Responsible for management of a team or group of employees.

3. Develop and refine specifications for new and/or existing products.

4. Managing multi-disciplinary and multi-site teams to develop several products.

5. Complete accurate food costing of ingredients for the products developed.

6. Provide technical expertise for products in development, new or improvement of existing. Planning, execution, and evaluation of projects while maintaining food safety and regulatory requirements.

7. Responsible for resolution of technical issues that arise during the development; production, operational, or performance based.

8. Work closely with Operations, Purchasing and Brand Marketing in communication of technical information, related to new product test program.

9. Coordinate plant trials and new product start-ups.

10. Work with Operations to troubleshoot technical, formulation and processing issues during pilot plant runs.

11. Training can be conducted.

12. Complete knowledge of food testing for nutritional, chemical, and physical aspect

13. Internal audits, MRM, risk Management

14. Working experience of NABL, EIC and APEDA approved lab

15. Internal/External audits can be faced.

16. Calibration of equipment

17. Records keeping and documentation as per regulatory bodies like NABL, APEDA and EIC

18. Conduct interlaboratory comparison and PT.

19. Knowledge of calculation of measurement of uncertainty and method validation

20. Cleaning and maintenance of sophisticated instruments

21. Sensory Analysis of final products

Qualification / Experience :

M.Sc. in Biochemistry or Biotechnology or Food Technology or Food and Nutrition from reputed University University.
