Forbidden Foods - Executive - Sourcing & Procurement (3-5 yrs)
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop an ecosystem of multiple vendors for various raw material, packaging material, merchandise, and food processing equipment
- Liaise with internal teams to develop detailed specifications, QC parameters, and target costing of the items to be procured
- Continually work towards cost optimization of all the materials being procured on a regular basis
- Ownership of the end-to-end inventory lifecycle management
- Ensure on-budget and on-time delivery
- Diversify vendor base and develop multiple sourcing options for all critical materials
- Remain up-to-date with changing industry conditions, commodity pricing cycles, and other current developments and keep the top leadership informed of the same
- Foresee and handle supply/ pricing shocks and other such issues with effective risk management and mitigation strategies
Required Experience, Competencies and Skills :
- Any Graduate/Post-Graduate, an Additional certification in the field of procurement will be an added advantage
- 3-5 years of experience working as a procurement specialist in the same area
- Strong knowledge of FMCG industry and market conditions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Impeccable negotiation and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and rapport building
- Uncompromising ethical behaviour in all dealings
