Hiring a Mining Foreman - Gold Mining

Position: Foreman (Mining)

Location: Location: Cambodia (Southeast Asian Country)

Experience Required: 6 - 8 Years in Underground Mining (Preferably in Gold Mining)

Qualification: Diploma in Mining Engineering

Certification: Mine Foreman Certificate of Competency (Un-restricted)


Job Summary:

We are hiring an experienced Mining Foreman to manage and supervise underground mining activities in a Gold mining operation. The ideal candidate must have solid hands-on experience in cut & fill stopping, along with a valid Mine Foreman Certificate (Unrestricted). This role is responsible for ensuring safe and efficient execution of underground work as per the production plan.


Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise daily underground operations including drilling, blasting, mucking, and support installation.

- Ensure proper execution of cut & fill stopping activities in accordance with mining plans.

- Monitor and manage manpower allocation, shift operations, and worksite discipline.

- Enforce safety protocols and statutory compliance under DGMS and company standards.

- Coordinate with survey, geology, and ventilation departments for smooth operations.

- Conduct regular safety briefings, risk assessments, and toolbox talks with the mining crew.

Skills & Competencies:

- In-depth knowledge of underground mining practices, particularly cut & fill stopes.

- Strong understanding of DGMS regulations and underground safety standards.

- Ability to lead and manage a team of miners, operators, and support staff.

- Practical knowledge of mining equipment used in underground gold mining.

- Good communication, reporting, and interpersonal skills.
