Foundry Head (15-25 yrs)

We are seeking a highly experienced Foundry Head to provide strategic and operational leadership for a large-scale steel casting manufacturing facility. 


- The role carries end-to-end responsibility for overall plant production covering moulding, core making, closing, melting, pouring, heat treatment, fettling, finishing, and dispatch operations while ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and delivery commitments.


- The incumbent will drive continuous improvement initiatives using structured productivity and lean manufacturing tools to enhance output, reduce cost, minimize rejections, and improve operational efficiency. 


- A key focus will be achieving SMART production targets defined by management through effective planning, workforce deployment, capacity utilization, and performance monitoring.


- The role requires close collaboration with marketing and technical teams to develop and successfully execute new customer samples, trials, and process validations.


- The Foundry Head will be responsible for cost control, yield improvement, energy optimization, and on-time delivery performance across all production stages. 


- Building and sustaining a positive work culture, fostering teamwork, and strengthening employee engagement and skill development across levels is an essential expectation. 


- The position demands strong leadership presence, problem-solving capability, and decision-making skills to manage complex shop floor challenges. 


- Candidates must bring extensive hands-on experience in steel foundry operations, particularly with No Bake systems such as PEPSET, along with deep knowledge of metallurgy, process control, and best-in-class manufacturing practices to support long-term operational excellence and sustainable growth objectives.


- This senior leadership role requires strategic vision, discipline, accountability, and resilience to consistently deliver results, drive innovation, strengthen systems, and support business competitiveness in demanding industrial markets globally successfully.
