Skill set :

- Good understanding of ISO 26262. "Road vehicles - Functional safety" and its methodologies

- Should have worked for minimum 3 years in Automotive Functional Safety

- Knowledge of

1) Functional Safety life cycle as per ISO26262

2) Hazard analyses Risk Assessment

3) Functional Safety requirements

4) Technical Safety requirements

5) Safety at Software & Hardware Level

Should have experience in :

- working on safety analysis like FMEA (Failure Modes and Effect Analysis),

- FTA (Fault Tree Analysis), DFA (Dependent Failure Analysis) for system / software / hardware

- Should have experience of Hardware Architecture metrics (FMEDA) and PMHF analysis as per ISO26262 requirements.

- Experience with embedded software development using C, should be able to understand software codes and functional flow

- Good understanding of Vehicle dynamics control system behavior

- Ready to work on any phase of functional safety life cycle.

- Should have knowledge of how to operate as interface between cross functional departments for safety related activities

- Should prepare project safety status report for weekly review

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Systematic problem solving skills

- Safety audit and assessment

Preferred :

- Better to have knowledge of automotive safety products, especially in airbag control units.

- Knowledge of Software development life cycle.

Other Skills :

- Restraint control product development knowledge

- AUTOSAR architecture knowledge

- Hands-on experience with tools IQ-RM, ITEM or tools used in safety analysis activities
