- 9+ years of experience in Design Engineering or relevant role in Mechanical Engineering and / or engineering leadership.

Roles & Responsibilities :

- Drive continuous improvement processes & culture with the GBE Design team, with focus on standardization, productivity, lessons learned, and quality.

- Capacity & capability balancing within the team and across the Chief Engineer's team for both Design and Development Engineers, including collection & reporting of related KPI's to GBE to make both workload & capability needs visible;

- Lead team member talent development and calibration with other Design teams, while supporting performance, evaluations, & recognition. Lead talent development tracking & animation for Lead Engineers & Development Engineers.

- Responsible for leading the hiring & UCP process for Design Engineers;

- Responsible for managing process related to all contractors linked to Chief Engineer's team (onboarding, PO's creations, Budgets validation);

- Provide data & KPI's supporting attrition replacement decision for all roles linked to Chief Engineer's team"

Mandatory Skills :

- Proficient user of 3D CAD for industrial design (both 3D/2D).

- Experienced in design of engineering components, both 2D & 3D, dimensioning, geometrical dimensioning & tolerance, in automotive industry.

- Proficient in PLM

- Certification in CAD / PLM would be a advantage.

- Leadership & ability to work x-teams & with a strong business acumen.


- Strong organization & communication skills. Willingness to learn & positive mindset.

- Customer oriented approach. Ability to delegate. Ability to drive team development.
