Gas Controller (2-5 yrs)
Job Description
Essential Functions :
- Monitor and control pipelines, compressor stations, including the measurement of natural gas in and out of pipeline systems
- Coordinate system operations between internal and external customers and field personnel.
- Document and maintain maintenance logs for upcoming and completed projects.
- Coordinate, test and sign off on the operation of new/acquired assets.
- Maintain records in compliance with PHMSA Control Room -Management requirements.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office products, specifically Microsoft Excel and Word, is essential.
- Strong interpersonal skills a must - this position requires constant coordination, interaction, and communication with internal and external customers.
This position will be required to cover shifts on a Dupont work schedule
- Must be able to work 12 hour rotating day/night shifts, maintaining a high level of attention at all times.
- Must be able to work overtime on short-notice.
