GE - Supplier Quality Manager (15-20 yrs)
- Manage team of Sourcing Quality Engineers to drive quality, delivery and compliance excellence within the India supply base
- Program Management Skills required: ;Ability to handle a wing to wing program.
- Drive a strong EHS culture throughout the supply base and within the GE team
- Identify and lead supplier development programs in order to continuously improve supplier performance
- Execute Global Sourcing and GE India strategies, managing complex relationships between numerous stakeholders in numerous countries
- Develop and execute audit schedules for both quality and EHS
- Own the QMS processes for GE India Power & Water and drive compliance to the procedures
- Supervise detailed Root Cause Analysis when issues arise, drive preventative actions that ensure issues don't re-occur
- Manage budgets for Travel & Living as well as Engineering support, ensuring that the budgets are initially set correctly and are followed closely
- Establish and monitor a large and complex supplier qualifications program
- Work closely with global Commodity Leaders and local Commodity Leaders to identify and assess new supplier opportunities
- Work cross functionally and cross business to support the growth of GE and GE India
Qualifications :
- Degree in a technical/Engineering subject
- 15+ years experience in Engineering/Quality
- Ability to read technical documents/drawings/specifications
- 6 Sigma Green/Black Belt
