General Manager - Corporate Quality - Manufacturing (15-25 yrs)

Developing and implementing tools / processes / systems for evaluation of current / new suppliers as part of supplier on-boarding / performance review

Laying out new / current product specifications in consultation with Product Teams and ensuring signing-off of the same with suppliers

Working with Sourcing & Product teams in New Product Development and ensure speedy new product launches

Working with suppliers directly / indirectly to ensure incoming quality is as per laid down specifications

Implementing projects to transition new / current suppliers into - Self-Certified- status Develop, implement and monitor - Supplier Rating system and govern the suppliers at a defined frequency

Develop, measure and monitor Key Performance Indicators such as CSI, Warranty Failure rate,COPQ, VR, etc. and keep the leadership team updated on progress

Launch - Quality Improvement Projects to achieve improvement in customer satisfaction and reduction waste / COPQ. Being part of whole team in VAVE and support - Cost Efficiency- program year over year.

Conduct competitor bench marking and bring in improvements in product quality / features / cost Work closely with Business / Service teams to reduce field failures and improve Customer Satisfaction.

Bringing in breakthrough improvements by implementing problem solving methods such as DoE, 6 Sigma, etc.

Managing and mentoring the team members in skill enhancements and ensure the team performance is measured and delivered.

Educational Qualifications:

- B.E./B.Tech. in Mechanical / Production Engg.

- MBA / an Lead Auditor certification an added advantage

Technical Knowledge:

- Experience in Consumer Goods / Automotive / Manufacturing industries is must.
