General Manager - Engineering - Paper Manufacturing (22-28 yrs)

Job Responsibilities of GM Engineering :

- Person will be spearheading the Engineering function Paper Plants, Pulp Mill, Utility Chemical Recovery Plant

- Responsible for Heading a team Heads of Electrical, Mechanical, Instrumentation, Civil, Utility and Projects to drive the operations of the plant

- Responsible for Projects planning, Capex Planning & projects Execution

- Responsible for Applying several measures to completely re-engineering the operations leading to cost reduction & quality improvement with improved profitability

- He will be ensuring asset care & pre-emptive action to ensure business continuity & minimum breakdown Highlights

- He will be ensuring Engg availability from all plants as per KPI & Implementing Predictive maintenance systems

- Responsible for ensuring Advanced monitoring techniques for measuring Maintenance Effectiveness were implemented such as measuring Mean time to repair (MTTR), Mean time between failures (MTBF), Inventory Turnover Ratio,Root Cause Analysis,Pareto Analysis etc.

- Responsible for ensuring for Continuous Improvement in Paper Machine efficiency, reduction of water in paper Machine, in Pulp mill functions etc for increasing production efficiency

- Responsible for developing systems for effective utilization of mechanical team for Pulp Mill, Paper Machines,Utility, Soda recovery etc

- Responsible for vendor development and vendor evaluation

Qualification : BE/ Diploma In Mechanical Engg

Experience : Minimum 22 Years For BE & 24 Years for Diploma

Exposure required : Operations, Maintenance & projects management related to Paper Machine's, Pulp Mill, Recovery, Electrical, Instrumentation, Utility etc
