Mechanical Maintenance Head - Power Plant Division

Designation: GM/ Senior General Manager

Qualification: B.Tech/ B.E/ M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering with MBA

Experience : Minimum 20 years in Power Plant.

Location : Raichur, Karnataka

Role & responsibilities :

- Team Leadership: Managing a team to providing Leadership, Guidance and training to ensure a skilled and efficient workforce.

- Maintenance Planning: Developing and Implementing comprehensive maintenance schedules, including preventive maintenance programs, to minimize downtime and ensure the longevity of machinery.

- Machinery Management: Overseeing the maintenance, Repair and efficient operation of all Mechanical equipment.

- Troubleshooting: Addressing & resolving mechanical issues promptly to minimize disruptions in production, and implementing corrective measures to prevent recurring problems.

- Technology Adoption: Evaluating and recommending new technologies and machinery to enhance productivity, efficiency, and quality.

- Compliance and Safety: Ensuring compliance with industry regulations, Safety standards and environmental guidelines in all mechanical operations.

- Cost Management: Monitoring and controlling the budget for the mechanical department, optimizing resource allocation, and identifying cost-saving opportunities without compromising on quality.

- Continuous Improvement: Driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance mechanical processes, reduce waste, and increase overall efficiency.

- Training and Development: Investing in the training and development of the mechanical team to keep them updated on industry best practices and technological advancements.

- Quality Assurance: Working closely with the quality control team to maintain and improve product quality through effective mechanical processes.

- Documentation: Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and any modifications made to machinery.

Salary : Negotiable as per skills & Experience
