General Manager - Operations - Fabrication Workshop (10-20 yrs)
One of leading machine manufacturing company looking for General Manager (Operations) for fabrication Workshop to be based in Ahmedabad. The role is for growth-oriented people with entrepreneurial mindset.
Roles & responsibilities :
- Managing all fabrication operations within budgeted man hours, cost & timeline.
- Co-ordination with sub-contractors involved
- Compliance with safety procedures & quality standards
- Measure, monitor, & manage workshop activities to ensure highest level of quality, efficiency & productivity
- Provide regular feedback & reports to management on workshop performance
- Develop, promote & support workshop personnel to deliver required business outcomes.
Skills required :
- Management-Leadership-Communication-Analytical approach. Working knowledge of M S Office is essential.
Essential criterion's for selection :
- Expertise in steel fabrication work
- Strong desire to take ownership & accountability
- Prior experience of managing 100+ work forces in a heavy duty & project driven environment.
