General Manager - Polymer Technologist - Packaging Product Domain (10-18 yrs)
Hiring for the role of General Manager-Polymer Technologist with a leading Packaging Product domain:
Job location: Hyderabad
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Bridge between Manufacturing, Purchase, Quality and Business Development
- Help in quality and productivity improvement through:
Introduction of new polymers/additives
Process improvement/optimization
Complaint resolution/CAPA
Balancing of polymer properties, processing parameters, mould design to reduce cycle times and improve product consistency etc.
- Support Business Development team
Selection of right polymer/process for new developments
Identification of applications to fit existing process/products
Identification of right Polymer/process combination for the customer's products/process
- Follow global trends in polymers/packaging to support
Purchase Decisions
Product modification
Investment decisions
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Graduation in Polymer Technology or UDCT pass out.
- Shop floor experience in Rigid Packaging in different processes (ISBM, IM, IBM, EBM etc) and different polymers (PET, PP, HDPE etc)
- Techno commercial approach
- Cross functional interaction
