General Manager - Quality Planning - Manufacturing (10-14 yrs)
- Incumbent will be responsible for leading Quality Planning across various Products / Businesses/ Manufacturing plants. Will be responsible for making Quality Strategy for New Product Introduction through Supplier / Manufacturing value chain. Timely flawless launch will be the key deliverable.
Duties and responsibilities :
- Integrate with various functions to formulate New Product Introduction, Gate wise quality deliverables, tracker & objective targets. Reviewing and ensuring compliance to validation as per standards (in-house/ supplier end/customer seeding) and set objectives at respective Gates.
- Ensure supplier engagement on PPAP, run rate delivery. Execute APQP on Finished Goods bought out parts.
- Prepare Supplier Quality Manual
- Smooth handover to Plant side Supplier Quality team/ Incoming Quality for FG bought out good & periodically review performance for 6 months since launch
- Coordinate with Manufacturing / Production Engineering/ Plant Quality for establishing process controls, Quality systems, and critical touch points. Periodically review performance for 6 months since launch
- Upgrade Measurement system, online data acquisition, error proofing across suppliers / plants / Receiving inspection
- Support chronic problem resolution
