Position: General Manager - Cookware industry

Location: Nigeria- West Africa

Role Objective :

- Candidate must have experience in running the manufacturing the Aluminum utensils products like aluminum utensil pots, pressure cooker, lids, etc.

- Candidate must have good exposure into deep drawing, double action press.

- Candidate must have responsible for overall plant operation like production, maintenance and quality operations.

- Candidate is responsible for producing quality products with minimal scrap and downtime.

- Candidate have ability to effectively and efficiently start up and shutdown the process & equipment in a safe manner.

- Candidate have to observe all safety rules/regulations and perform duties in a safe and efficient manner.

- Candidate have to carry out duties and responsibilities in a positive way and in the spirit of cooperation and support of others.

- To fully meet the duties and responsibilities of the position.

Candidate Profile :

- Diploma/ Degree in Mechanical engineering.

- Candidate should have 15+ years of experience in Kitchenware Industry/Sheet Metal Industry.

Responsibilities :

- Candidate must have experience of aluminum products production, maintenance, quality and manpower.

- Candidate having a good knowledge of machines like Hydraulic Power, Presses and mechanical and machines.

- Candidate have to implement continuous improvement in productivity, quality & process material management.

- Candidate have to lead the shop floor team to achieve set productivity goals through optimization of capacity utilization & waste reduction.

- Candidate is responsible report to appropriate management personnel any policy violations, safety incidents, quality issues.

- Candidate must have deep knowledge of aluminum tensile, steel, stainless steel products.

- Candidate is responsible for mold making, trial, maintenance and improving quality.

- Candidate is responsible for troubleshoot quality and processing problems and make corrections accordingly.

- Develop and maintain regular reports consistent with departmental needs to track progress and drive action on plant improvements.

- Initiate process improvement projects to increase efficiency, reduce costs, improve quality and defect analysis.

- Develop troubleshooting guides for maintenance and operations personnel for recycling line use, and, training and deploying these in the plant.

- Candidate have to handle plant independently.
