Our client is one of the leading players in the paints segment in India. It has various businesses including decorative, industrial, automotive and powder coatings. It owns various manufacturing plants and contract manufacturing facilities across India.

Job Profile :

- Drive the development of new products, new shades, new application methodologies etc for Decorative coatings.

- Play a key role in developing measurement criteria for Decorative products in defining quality versus price for the products.

- To get feedback from customers on the quality of products and initiate necessary measures for further improvement.

- To commercialize new products for business development.

- To maintain and upgrade laboratories of world class standards for technical development with requisite fiscal approvals.

- To guide plants in reprocessing reject finished goods/ work offs.

- To guide plants in upgrading the quality of filling process as well packaging material and avoid the loss on account of leakages.

- To ensure compliance with relevant laws and corporate governance in the matters under this position.

- To understand & develop paints suitable for the application technique of different region / geographical territories across the country.

- Benchmarking and study our product vis--vis competition in the respective segment.

- To gather technology from various vendors for raw material and paint process to get innovative products in the segment.

- To study worldwide trends and products and implement the same at the required time.

Candidate Profile :

- Qualification: Ph.D, M.Sc, B Tech (Paint Tech).

- Years of experience: 15 - 22 years.

- Candidate must have paints/ raw material utilized in the paints segment exposure.

- Domain knowledge and awareness of the latest global technologies.

- Leadership skills and ability to coordinate with multiple teams.

- Analytical bent of mind.

- A self-driven individual with the ability to multi task.
