Position: Geologist (Exploration)

Location: Northwest Africa

Business: Gold Exploration

KEY RESPONSBILITIES:

- Conduct Greenfields Gold exploration and geophysical and geochemical exploration.

- Design and implement RC and DD drilling programs, including core logging and sampling.

- Ensure QAQC protocols are followed in all exploration activities.

- Utilize GIS software like ArcGIS and geology software like Surpac and Micromine for data analysis and interpretation.

- Collaborate with geophysicists, surveyors, and other team members to integrate exploration data.

FUNCTIONAL SKILLS:

- Proficiency in Greenfields gold exploration and geophysical and geochemical methods.

- Experience with RC and DD drilling, core logging, and sampling.

- Knowledge of QAQC protocols.

- Proficiency in GIS software like ArcGIS and geology software like Surpac and Micromine.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

QUALIFICATION:

- Bachelor's degree in Geology or related field.

- Minimum of 10 years of experience in exploration geology.

- Experience with Greenfields Gold exploration, Geophysical and Geochemical methods, and drilling programs.

EXPERIENCE : Minimum ten years (10) of experience in a similar industry, with 5 in gold mining or exploration.

CERTIFICATIONS : Membership in an Internationally recognised Geoscientist Organization is an added advantage.
