Geoquest India - Design Engineer (5-8 yrs)
Position Snapshot:
- Reporting to the Design Manager
- Based out New Delhi.
- Degree in Civil Engineering / Geotechnical Engineering / M. Tech (Geotechnical) 5-8 years of relevant experience in the Design of Reinforced Soil Structure / Geotechnical Engineering / Slope Stability Analysis.
Key Deliverables:
1. Preparation and Issuance of Design Reports for Reinforced Soil Structures, Slope Stabilisation etc.
2. Supervise and monitor activities of CAD Department, timely and error free generation and submission of drawings.
3. Co-ordination, planning, interaction with client for collection of input data.
4. Co-ordination with client/consultant for approval of design and drawing.
5. Preparation of BOQ (Bill of Quantities).
6. Preparation of monthly - Design and Drawing- Activity Report.
7. Preparation of technical proposals, case study, scheme and preliminary design for cost estimation.
8. Supervising, supporting, mentoring, and training members in the team including junior engineers.
9. Contributing to the development of design engineering technology and tools.
10. Checking quality and content of engineering deliverables regarding Geotechnical Engineering.
11. Ensuring compliance with corporate and project QMS and HSES procedures.
Key Skills, Competencies:
Knowledge:
- In depth knowledge of Geotechnical Engineering & Applications.
- Computer Working Knowledge of MS-Office / Geotechnical Engineering related Design Software and AUTO CAD
