Globus Logisys - Transport Manager (2-5 yrs)
- Sourcing of vehicles from the Market as well as in-house sources
- Negotiating best possible freight and ensure availability of vehicles fulfilment of schedule received
- Ensure prompt and proper documentation before and after assignment of loading program to each vehicle
- Ensure timely coordination with vehicle supliers to provide prompt updates to in-house logistic team.
- Fixing most favourable payment terms with suppliers to streamline cash flow of company
- Ensuring correctness of each payment made in respect of transport business
- Develop company's own fleet ownership program by identifying areas with most R.O.I.
