Globus Spirits - Manager - Procurement (5-10 yrs)
A dynamic individual with 5-7 years of experience in Procurement, Vendor Development, Supply Chain Management, Logistics of Grain(Rice husk, Nakku, Broken Rice, Corn, Maize, Bajara). Expertise in carrying out Purchase, Procurement, Vendor Development, Inventory Management. Extensive experience in development of sourcing strategies, vendor identification, development and analytical assessment, to strengthen supply chain. Excellent negotiation skills with expertise in conducting analysis of quotations. Good knowledge of East India markets for grain purchase.
Responsibilities:
- Procurement & planning
- Vendor development, knowledge of terms and condition of purchase orders etc.
- Handling agro product especially Grain/Rice/Broken Rice/Bajra/Maize
- Taking offers making comparisons, dealing with quality.
- Purchase Operations- Arrange Quotation & Analysis, Supply Follow-up.
- Managing the Ware house activities -stocks, logistics,.
- Timely procurement of grain & payment to the vendors
- Budget Control And Reconciliation and closure of PO, Assurance for acceptance of PO
- Analyze the Requisition in detail and close the shortcomings
- Vendor Evaluation of Offers and Close Deviations & Placement of Order
- Should have Sound Knowledge of SAP /ERP
