GM - Project Management - Civil/Mechanical Engineering (15-25 yrs)

Looking for Postgraduate Civil or Mechanical Engineers with a strong experience in Project Planning and Monitoring for a Infrastructure Development Chennai based company.

Responsibilities:

- Independently handle projects within the parameters as agreed in the Southern markets which shall include Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad and other Cities

- Plan project development strategy

- Project Planning and monitoring of project progress

- Design management

- Contract Management

- Preparing budgets and tracking the same

- Enforcing quality and Health & Safety standards across all sites under supervision

- MIS and reporting

- Assist Head of Project in developing the site

- Managing local environments in conjunction with project managers to ensure trouble free execution

- Should be sophisticated and be able to handle clients and vendors alike

- Should have handled multiple projects, especially industrial / logistics parks.

Skill Sets Required :

- Project planning & monitoring. Using MS Projects.

- Planning project development strategy.

- Design management.

- Contract management. Well-versed with contract laws.

- Preparation of financial statements and tracking.

- Shall have sound experience in ensuring highest quality standards in construction.

- Very good at management reporting. Including presentations.

- Shall have a proven record of implementing best HSE practices.

- Excellent communication skills.

- Should be a good team leader.

- Shall be very good at handling large teams.

- Location: Chennai. Will have to travel extensively.

- Exposure to multi-national work environment preferred.

- Should be seeking long term association
