Job Description :

Turn Around Time (TAT) - BM and LM

- To head the management of the GAT Maintenance Operations to ensure the efficient operation and continuous development of the organisation in carrying out maintenance on aircraft for reliable on time delivery

- To ensure that organisation's procedures and standards are complied with when carrying out maintenance

- Carry out any other task as directed by the Accountable Manager.

Manpower utilization :

- To establish and maintain an organisational structure with competent staff and organise the delegation of responsibility for the management of resources for efficient performance

- To ensure the availability of sufficient competent personnel to plan, perform, supervises, inspect and certify the work being performed.

- Delegation of responsibilities to Dy. Base maintenance and Workshop manager during his absence. 


- Deputy Base maintenance and Workshop manager will be responsible for all the duties and responsibilities of Base maintenance and Workshop manager during the period of absence of Base maintenance and Workshop Manager.

Equipment and Material Availability :

- To ensure the availability of a working environment appropriate to the tasks being carried out and that the necessary resources such as facilities, tools and equipment, material, competent manpower and maintenance data are available to meet the planned work, business needs and Regulatory requirements.

Maintain Quality Standards :

- To ensure that the maintenance and associated rectification is carried out to the design and quality standards, as specified in CAR 145.465(b)

- To notify the Accountable Manager whenever deficiencies emerge which require his attention in respect of finance and the acceptability of standards (CEO and QM to be officially informed of any lack of 25 o/o ot available man-hours over a calendar month)

- Should be AME/B.Tech with relevant aircraft license(s) holder
