GMR - General Manager - Civil & Structures - Terminal Building (18-25 yrs)
Job Description :
Responsible for design review, coordination with internal and external stakeholders and execution of Civil & structural works for construction of Terminal Building adhering to safety & quality standards within specified time & cost.
- Design compliance to Green Building concept and Develop sustainable site, Water & Energy efficiency, Improved Connectivity.
- Develop and implement value engineering during design and procurement phase to influence project cost and/or life cycle cost of the system being installed.
- Review design basis reports, assumptions and calculations for foundation, substructure, superstructure and roofing systems submitted by the consultants in line with design standards and specifications.
- Review detailed design drawings, technical specifications and shop drawings for construction submitted by the EPC contractor/ Consultant and recommend for HOD approval.
- Participate in design coordination meetings with cross functional teams, Stakeholders, consultant and EPC contractor to mitigate conflicts in the design stage
- Ensure GFC (Good for Construction) drawings are approved in time and issued for construction.
- Ensure integration of all related services and utilities in the final design.
- Assist in Finalizing tender specifications, drawings and BOQs for procurement.
- Assist the procurement team with Technical and Commercial inputs in tendering, vendor evaluation and finalization for all packages related to Civil, Structural, roof system, Fa-ade and other associated works.
- Value Engineering & Cost curtailment during execution of work by adopting new technology/process, avoid repetitive activities and complete all work on target.
- Define & implement DPR, WPR & MPR capturing Plan Vs Actual and Project delivery system to ensure zero time over run.
Must Have :
- 18-20 years of experience in Complex Steel/Concrete Structures, Fa- ade & Specialized Roofing Systems.
- Executed & integrated complex buildings such as Airport.
- Good understanding of relevant codes, standards and material specifications for design review and execution
