Group Supply chain Manager - Textile Unit (3-5 yrs)
- We are seeking an experienced Group Supply Chain Manager to lead and optimize end-to-end supply chain operations across multiple textile manufacturing units. The role will drive strategic planning, procurement excellence, production coordination, inventory control, logistics efficiency, and cost optimization while ensuring seamless collaboration between manufacturing, sales, and finance.
- The incumbent will design and implement supply chain strategies aligned with business objectives and lead the Sales and Operations Planning process to balance demand and capacity. A key focus will be securing reliable sourcing of yarn, fabric, dyes, chemicals, and accessories while developing strong vendor partnerships and negotiating favorable commercial terms.
- Close coordination with plant leadership is required to guarantee uninterrupted material availability and adherence to production schedules. The position also carries responsibility for maintaining optimum stock levels, reducing working capital, improving inventory accuracy, and preventing obsolescence through structured control mechanisms.
- You will oversee inbound and outbound logistics, freight management, and on-time delivery performance for domestic and export markets. Continuous monitoring of KPIs such as OTIF, inventory turns, procurement savings, and lead times will be essential to drive improvement initiatives.
- The role demands proactive risk identification, contingency planning, and adoption of technology platforms including ERP systems to strengthen visibility and reporting. Strong leadership capability is vital to guide cross-functional teams, develop talent pipelines, and build a performance-driven culture that supports sustainable growth, operational resilience, and long-term value creation.
