Hardware Design Engineer - EMI/EMC (3-10 yrs)
Job Description :
- Hands on experience in High-Speed Board design (Single-ended and differential signals)
- Experience in Digital design
- Proficient in DC-DC power design
- Designed Processor-based boards (added plus)
- Familiarity with Microcontroller usage
- Design skills in Thermal analysis, Load analysis, Timing analysis
- Proficient with interfaces such as USB, UART, SPI, I2C, etc.
- Strong understanding of electrical/electronic fundamentals (transistors, opamps)
- Skilled in Schematic entry using Orcad and PCB Design using Allegro
- Experience with Gerber viewers
- Testing and validation of designed boards
Responsibilities :
- Gather requirements through discussions with customers or Lead
- Select suitable components based on requirements
- Perform design analysis
- Create optimized schematics and generate BOM
- Collaborate with PCB Team for layout considering EMI/EMC guidelines and DFM
- Perform Testing, bring up, and Design validation
- Conduct EMI/EMC pre-compliance testing at standard laboratories
- Handover designs for mass production
- Develop production test plan, considering test jig feasibility
- Offer production support and issue resolution
