Hardware Designer - Mechanical (3-6 yrs)
Educational qualification:
- Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering with 4 to 6 years of relevant experience
Primary Responsibilities:
- Responsible for creating and maintaining complex part/assembly layouts as per the Bill of Materials.
- Collaborate with product development engineers in implementing part changes on assembly.
- Consult with product group to interpret configuration changes on assembly build and collaborate with internal & external cross-functional teams for problem-solving and decision-making.
- Accountable for delivering on time with quality as per key performance indicators, as well as consistent improvement in efficiency.
- Responsible for working in a fast-paced environment with aggressive deadlines and multiple priorities while being a team player.
Mandatory Skills required to performing the job:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of hands on experience in NX & Teamcenter Active Workspace
- Minimum of 1-2 years of hands-on experience in using DBOM, EBOM & MBOM in Teamcenter. Experience in mapping, syncing and validating DBOM to EBOM
- Minimum of 1-2 years of hands-on experience in using Teamcenter product configurator (Variant configuration) with the ability to set up and manage configurable product structure
- Exposure to Data migration projects involving transfer of PLM/legacy data to Teamcenter
- Experience in building & maintaining large assemblies based on design intent in NX
- Experience in running interference analysis & expertise in creating arrangements using NX
- Expert in troubleshooting complex CAD/design layout problems
- Exposure to Engineering Change Management, SAP & PLM
Desirable Skills:
- Experience in various fabrication methods (Sheet metal & Machining)
- Knowledge of welding symbols, GD&T symbols, Surface finish, etc.
- exposure to ANSI, ASME, AWS, ISO, and SEMI standards applicable to the semiconductor industry.
- Knowledge of MS Office software like MS Excel, MS Word & MS PowerPoint
- Exposure to Semiconductor industry-related Engineering activities.
