Head - Buying & Merchandising - Retail (10-16 yrs)
Currently we are hiring for one of the India's largest Retail market place.
Designation : Buying & Merchandising
Exp : 10+ Yrs
Location : Ahmedabad
B&M Head - (FMCG - Foods & Non Foods, F&V, Staples )
- To exhibit good vendor management skills - promotions/negotiation & reconciliation
- Ensure 100% availability of Key SKUs / Seasonal / Festival SKUs
- Negotiate Offers and Promotions with vendors on a monthly/ fortnightly basis and also special promotions for key marketing events.
- Ensure Fillrate & Assortment availability at prescribed percentage
- Ensure Bottomline & Topline targets for- Food/ Non Food- Category are achieved
- Ensure Other Income targets are achieved
- To do a periodical revision of Stocking norms based on their performance
- Strategically grow & improve the margins with comparison of previous year
- Ensure healthy supply chain management - maximum inventory cap to be maintained
- Ensure Liquidation of Unsold and Slow Moving Stocks through Return to Vendors/ Promotions.
Experience : Candidates With Relevant Local Experience In Retail Industry
Preference if they are already handling FMCG products, Staples, F&V, Groceries
Educational Qualifications : Graduate preferably MBA
Skills needed : Working Knowledge of Computer Systems - Ms Excel, Ms Word
Preferred if candidate is already using any Retail ERP - Home grown/ external
