Head - Electrode Manufacturing (10-20 yrs)
To lead and optimize the electrode manufacturing processes within the realm of li-ion cell production, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety.
- The role demands aligning the electrode manufacturing strategies the overarching goals of the li-ion cell production unit while staying abreast of advancements in electrode materials and techniques.
Responsibilities :
- Oversee the entire electrode production line, ensuring optimal utilization of resources and adherence to production schedules.
- Collaborate with the R&D team to integrate new electrode materials or enhancements into the production process.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, focusing on enhancing production efficiency, reducing wastage, and optimizing costs.
- Maintain a rigorous quality control protocol, ensuring that the electrodes produced meet or exceed required specifications.
- Engage with supply chain teams to ensure timely availability of electrode materials, considering quality and cost factors.
- Uphold and reinforce safety and environmental standards across the electrode manufacturing process.
- Collaborate with other production heads, especially those involved in cell assembly, to ensure smooth integration of the electrode into the final cell product.
- Monitor and report on production metrics, ensuring transparency and timely communication with senior management.
- Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and external stakeholders pertinent to electrode manufacturing.
