Head - Estimation Engineering (15-25 yrs)
Position Overview :
- We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our Railways Business Unit as the Head-Estimations Civil.
- In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the estimation process for civil projects related to the railway industry.
- You will lead a team of estimators and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and competitive project bids.
- This position is based at our corporate office in Bangalore.
Job Responsibilities :
- Lead and manage a team of estimators responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for civil projects in the railway sector.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and develop comprehensive estimates.
- Conduct detailed analysis of project specifications, drawings, and other relevant documents to identify the scope of work and determine accurate cost factors.
- Utilize industry best practices, historical data, and cost databases to develop standardized estimation models and tools.
- Review and validate estimates prepared by the team, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with project
requirements.
- Conduct periodic cost reviews during the project lifecycle, identify cost-saving opportunities, and provide recommendations to optimize project budgets.
- Liaise with procurement teams and vendors to obtain accurate pricing and availability of materials, equipment, and services required for project execution.
- Stay updated with industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory requirements related to civil projects in the railway sector.
