Job Description

The Operations Manager will ensure the smooth running of operations for the areas designated to him and will manage a team of up to 20 team leaders, assistant Ops Manager and up to 500 delivery executives. As each delivery executive does up to 100 deliveries, he will have the eventual responsibility of all the deliveries happening in his areas. Along with his team, his shift timing would be from 7am to 4pm

Responsibilities :

- Manage a team of up to 20 team leaders, assistant Ops Manager and up to 500 delivery executives

- Along with the team, execute up to 15000 deliveries every day

- Create and ensure strict adherence to SOPs

- Source, hire and train TLs and delivery executives as necessary

- Coordinate with suppliers, transporters, other vendors on a daily basis

- Enable marketing activities like flyer distribution etc. in areas designated to him

- Ensure cash reconciliation on a daily basis

- Create daily MIS reports to be shared with senior management

- Identify, manage and solve grievances of entire team

- Liaison with other departments like HR and Accounts

- Planning and managing logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer services

- Directing, optimizing and coordinating full order cycle

Requirements :

- Education: Graduate

- Communication: fluent in English, Hindi and Marathi

- Previous Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in managing delivery ops in companies like Flipkart, Amazon, Go Javas, Ecom Express, Delhivery, Fedex, Bluedart, DHL, DTDC etc.

- Software skills: Advanced Excel, email

- Timing: Should be comfortable with the early morning shift timings

- Candidate should have exemplary leadership skills and should be comfortable in managing large teams of 300+ entry level people. Should have created SOPs before and have previous hiring and training experience
